BlueFiles Printer is a virtual printer that transforms any printable document into an encrypted and secure file: the BlueFiles format (.blue). This format protects your sensitive or confidential digital data against theft and hacking, even if it travels outside secure networks (email, cloud, server, USB key, etc.).

The encryption of your documents is done locally, through a printing process (similar to PDF printers). It is based on the use of standard encryption algorithms such as AES, or RSA. The BlueFiles format also allows you to:

• Track your files in real time via a secure online interface (document status, statistics, etc.)

• Add, delete or modify the access permissions for each of your documents (by defining the list of s authorized to read the document).

• Define security options such as: restricting reading over time, prohibiting document printing, restricting devices connected to the Internet, etc.

The software is available free of charge for the use of the printer on a single workstation. The paid version allows you to manage several printers (multi-) and s ( and status), create recipient groups to simplify the allocation of reading rights, etc.

An “On Premise” offer is also available, allowing you to install your own BlueFiles server within your company’s infrastructure.

BlueFiles encrypted files (.blue) can be viewed via the dedicated free application “BlueFiles Reader” (available on Mac OS X / Windows / Android / iOS platforms).
