In looking for other criteria for the classification of countries, I thought it would be a little fairer to include the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of the countries. It is indeed an index covering both the number of inhabitants of the country and its wealth (and therefore its ability to invest in sport). The results upset the rankings that we are traditionally offered with CUBA, GEORGIA and JAMAICA on the podium! What about in all this? the file to discover it! Hint, we are better ranked than the USA!!!!! ! Attention, this file uses the new Open XML format (default format of Office 2007). Its size is 35 Kb compared to 72 Kb with the old format! To open it, a free Office 2007 evaluation or use the “compatibility pack” to be able to read the table from your current Office.
